I'm reposting hoping someone else has gone through this and might be able to advise (or even if you haven't experienced the same). I'd appreciate a new angle please as to how to discuss this with her. Maybe my last post didn't make this clear though I had some great advice about how to help her once we have this conversation.
We discovered our teenage daughter had started her periods. She didn't tell us but we found dirty pants and pads in her cupboards and drawers. I've tried to broach the subject but she cuts me off immediately. She's prime to violence and would be angry if she knew we'd been in her room. So what to do?
We've read not to confront but can't leave it indefinitely. I've put a bin in her room. I've left posters about stain removal and sanitary pads in the bathroom. We don't know what to do next about dealing with this.
