Tooth fairy

Hi there, please excuse but this is my first time posting. I’m a mum of a recently diagnosed boy who still believes in the tooth fairy. After losing a tooth last night & placing it under his pillow he was upset that the tooth fairy didn’t come. How to you say that they don’t exist? He’s an only child, in secondary school, I’d hate for him to get bullied over his innocence in this. Thanks for your time x

  • Maybe trying writing a nice note from the tooth fairy saying they were late due to visiting younger children and that they don't normally visit children over a certain age. That way you can protect his belief but as he doesn't expect a visit any more he probably won't be disappointed
