hi, my son, 8, stands out as quite different amongst his peers, and is exceptionally intelligent in some areas but struggles very much in other areas. He also engages in flapping/clenching/pacing/spinning when excited, can’t stay stillfor a second and has very very narrow interests(maps and geography) I’m wondering if he has adhd or/and asd. This evening, I took and excellent video of him whilst he was watching a YouTube video of him engaging in some behaviour that I’ve never seen any other child exhibiting.
Id like to email this video to someone who can tell me if this is nothing to worry about, or if I should seek advice/diagnosis. Can anyone put me in contact with someone with the required skills please?
i live in france, we have lived here for 3 years, autism and adhd and the like are not well diagnosed here, I’d like some help from an English based expert before I try to get anywhere in the French system as my French isn’t as advanced as I’d probably need it to be to get anywhere fast here.
