Vaccinations

Hello

Huge, and very controversial subject ....

My 3 year old has had tests done which show he has high quinolinic acid and his immune system is not doing his job.  Advise is to give single vaccinations only, and space them out.

He is also autistic, non verbal, and has significant  sensory challenges.

This is a massive grey area for me as Ive never questioned the vaccinations and autistic behavour before and I am now reading lots in the area.

Please... does anyone have any personal experience in this area?  Has anyone had to make any type of similar decisions themselves?

Thank you

Tanya

  • I'm guessing the vaccinations are being spaced so as not to stress his immune system? My daughter was seriously ill after birth with group b strep and sepsis complicated with collapsed punctured lung and clots on her brain, physically she made full recovery but her first two lots of jabs were delayed and separate to prevent to much strain on her? Not sure if that's relevant or what you ment

  • Thank you very much for your reply.

Would you mind me asking how it was agreed how long the delay would be to have the jabs?  And how did you get the jabs separately?  Was this on the NHS?

Lovely to hear physically she made a full recovery.

  • No worries, doctors delayed them by 8 weeks and they made arrangements for separate vaccines to be ordered. All her later ones were the normal ones if you are being told separate injections I would assume either your paediatrician or gp will sort this out for you, thanks for the kind words towards my daughter it was touch and go for a while but you wouldn't know it to look at her!
