my daughter who is 2 years 9 months and ASD has getting more sensory than before. She doesn’t call me mama and I don’t think she know I am mama. Anyone has similar experience? Thanks
Our son at that age ASD hardly talked unless you talked to him always content and happy in his own world. It was so difficult at the time I am an only child his dad also ASD so never thought 1990s any thing about it . I just presumed he was quiet like his dad. Looking back now his sister at the same age was a full on chatter box always asking questions. Frequently saying mummy and daddy. Now I get big hugs in fact he always communicated in hugs a very loving child. She most likely will know but the skill to communicated verbally not developed.
My daughter is very sensory too. How about your son?
