Hi, My 11 yo son with HFA is currently in a complete state of permanent anxiety about having the smallest drip of wee on him after he uses the toilet - this is nothing more than one drip, not incontinence.
I have tried talking him through all the biological aspects eg how long the urethra is, teaching him to "shake", how one drip is not harmful etc..
Nothing is seeming to work. He will change his underwear/clothes several times a day. And will get very emotional when he thinks he has done enough, pulls up his pants and the dreaded wee drip appears.
Anyone have any experience with this? Suggestions please....

This technique can be practised at home. When in public toilets it can be done discreetly, with a hand inside a trouser pocket. It only takes a few seconds and may avoid the problem of wet trousers."
