hi I am a mother of three kids aged 4,5 & 6. All of them were late speakers so I didn’t noticed there is something going on with my 5 year boy.
we are British but living abroad due to a foreign job, I want to know that if I need assessment of my kid for whom abroad doctors r saying he is showing mild autism symptoms, I’m not sure where to start, who to call and where to book appointments.
i would be highly obliged if someone give me a detailed answer as I will be travelling to UK for a short period with my boy.
he is studying in school and the only thing irritates the class is his sitting time.
he speaks but few direct communication, he can count 1-100 without any visual support, he sort organise and make friends easily
Have you contacted the NAS? They could help you for sure. Normally I'd say take the GP route, but it's more difficult in your case and you don't have that time span.
No I haven’t contacted anyone yet, but yes I can contact NAS
