Siblings at different primary schools

I am looking for advice really. My elder child is felt to be autistic by all of his teachers and speech therapists but has still not been assessed and formally diagnosed (3 years later). He also had a lot of hearing problems as a child which complicates the picture further. Anyway his younger brother has been given a place in a different primary school as we are living slightly out of catchment now of my elder child's school. I am worried about the impact this will have on both of them, particularly on the older one of dashing between schools (they start and finish same time). My elder son would not cope with wrap around care (and all of his teachers agree) and I feel that he would struggle with moving to the other school as it took him a long time to settle in his current school. Basically I'd be very grateful for any advice anyone has - particularly if they have had the same experience. Thanks!
