ASD friendly Open Day

As part of a new initiative to make The National Football Museum more inclusive and accessible to everyone we are in the process of introducing early openings dedicated to young people with ASD. The opening is free of charge and is aimed at 5-16 year olds and their parents/carers. We will take a variety of measures including reducing our gallery noise and lighting displays as well as providing sensory backpacks in order to create a calm and welcoming environment. Our aim is to allow these younger people to have the opportunity to interact with our museum in the most comfortable way possible for them.

This forum has been created to address any questions or comments you wish to make, alternatively please feel free to email the museum directly or click on the link below for any additional information.
