Needing support

  1. hi everyone I have three children my youngest is 7    he's been diagnosed with autism and I am looking to meet and chat to other mums I am based in Leicestershire so would be lovely to hear from other mums going through similar problems as it can feel isolating at times and needing mums to talk to that understand.
  • Hi Becky,

Apologies for the slightly late reply. If you're interested in meeting up with other parents, you might want to look into finding a support group. The NAS Autism Services Directory lists different services that are available by area. This is a link to the directory, filtered for support groups and networks in the Leicester/Leicestershire area - http://www.autism.org.uk/directory/browse/cid=58~aid=331.aspx - there are a few different options so I hope you'll be able to find one that works for you.

    Best wishes,
