Hello everyone, I'm moving to London in two months, and would really appreciate some advice on where would be a good place to live in order for our ASD son (who's just turned 4) to access good (hopefully mainstream) education. I'll be working in Camden town. I have been told that quality of provision varies greatly by area (by NHS primary care trust?). The most important consideration for us when deciding where to live is that it be somewhere our son can develop and receive a good, tailored education with the necessary support. My son was diagnosed with ASD in September last year. He is not severely autistic, and is highly intelligent in some respects, but he does have a significant speech delay, and of course the social difficulties. We would very much like him in mainstream education with support. I think you can all guess how important a decision this is for myself, my wife, our son, and our NT daughter (who's 1 year old) - again, any advice on this would be genuinely appreciated. many thanks!
