  • To quote someone's message, first select/highlight the relevant text, and then use the Quote button that appears
  • To "mention" someone, type @ followed by the start of the forum name, and choose from the list; that person will get a notification of being mentioned

Is there any way the site can be configured to have the option to save your sign in details - it's a pain having to log in every time. The login details aren't registering with autocomplete and the windows password store either, unlike a lot of other sites.

  • Hi everyone

    This problem has been resolved now. The security certificates for the whole website were renewed last week but a glitch (resolved this morning) meant it unexpectedly effected the Community. Unfortunate .. but we will know next time. Fortunately not a hack :-)

  • Thanks for letting us know about your log in problems.  I also had problems logging in today.  It said that the certificate for the site was "not known".  I have just updated my anti-virus software so wondered if it was something to do with that.  I will pass on the details to people who know so much more about computers than me and hopefully they will be able to help!

  • Cheers Rainbow, does look like IE has the biggest issues with the sign in page. I'll have a look at some possible solutions. 

  • It's something I'll bring up when the profile is reviewed, so hopefully we can look at changing the page to autocomplete - maybe even to have a 'remember me' as well, which other people have mentioned.

    I get an auto-complete when using firefox by the way and it's pre-fills the form with Chrome but I know how random these things can be. Are you using IE? Just curious if it's the same experience for each browser for each user.
