This is a little bit less serious than some of the discussions lately, so I hope it lightens the mood. It is just a story of one of my quirks, not meant to be taken too seriously.
Ever since I was little, I have been able to eat chocolate animals or chocolate childrens characters. And I sill have the same problem in my sixties!
I remember being given chocolate teddies (in foil that pictured their features) at Christmas when I was barely out of nappies. I could not eat them. I used to keep them for years, till eventually something happened and the chocolate got broken. Whether that was just a way for my mother to be able to get rid of them I do not know.
Over the years I have been given chocolate bunnies, chocolate cats, chocolate fish, a chocolate 'The Snowman' and none of them can I eat. It just seems to be the next thing to cannibalism or eating a favourite pet. Eventually they 'disappear', I don't know what happens to them but some mysterious force must be the cause, it is not me.
I was just wondering if the Easter Bunny brings me something this Easter shaped like a character rather than an egg, how long will it last before the mysterious force makes it disappear.
Does anyone else have the same problem with consuming chocolate shaped into characters or animals? And if so, does the 'mysterious force' make them disappear eventually too?
