Car Culture: JDM, Euro, Stance, Muscle - Anything!

Hey so im 20 y/o and i was just wondering is anyone obsessed with cars as i am? i currently have a VW Polo 6n2 (which i plan to slam to the ground) but i absolutely LOVE japanese drift cars and that whole scene -  also the UKstance scene. i love building cars on need for speed etc. so if anyone has Xbone and wants to drift or something hit me up as well. just let me know what you like!

  • That is a cool car. That car is made for drifting. Would you keep it standard or go for drift spec?

  • dayum thats impressive,  one day im going to buy a nissan silvia(probs s13) and just keep it til i die or something aha

  • I am pretty obsessed with cars. I can't say I am a massive fan of stancing a car, I think it is actually dangerous. Especially the stretched tyres. I can however respect the effort someone has put in to their car, regardless of what it is. I don't like F1 either, but pretty much anything (everything) else I love. Especially if it is heavily turbocharged.

I had the pleasure of being driven round a race track in a 600hp evo once. That was awesome. There was no off boost performance. At all. But when it spooled the turbo, it was savage! I wanted to have a car that fast, so I have a '94 Impreza track car (all caged up)  that I am slowly upgrading. I blew the gearbox on the last trackday I did, stripped all the teeth off of third gear. So it now has a 6 speed (and all the running gear) from a 2001 sti. I have done almost no engine work yet. It has an ECU from a prodive p1 and an ESL daughter board that I soldered into the ECU, so I could calibrate and use a MAP sensor from a later car (with a higher boost ceiling of 1.7 bar, as opposed to the standard 1.2bar). It also has a stiffer spring in the wastegate actuator and a re-map. It has about 320bhp at the moment. I have some spare engines that I am planning to boost up to 600hp (reliably).

I shall most definitely be going to watch the time attack cars when they come to my neck of the woods this year.
