Compliment the poster above you

Things are rather bleak these days, not just for those on the spectrum, but for people in general. So I thought this might make an intresting and a usefull thread having seen it elsewhere.

The Premise is very simple. You just read the thread, and write out a compliment, sincear, silly or anything in between, about the last person who posted.

There is of corse one complication, I can't actually get the ballrolling myself, because there is no one above me in the thread. I could wait, compliment the person who compliments me, but that starts a feed back loop.

So instead, to all of you, those on the spectrum, those who know or care for those who are, you are stronger than you know, and more important than you understand, some day in the future you will remember getting though this.

  • Well, I can compliment you ...

I can see in your avatar that you've someone who likes a good crack, as theft say in Ireland .

    Have a nice day.

  • C'mon people, who dosen't like being complimented?

I can't compliment myself, but I can compliment all of you.

I want to take a moment then to say how precious a place like this is.

All of us have our sorrows, our problems. But thr fact that this forum exists is down to our willingness to look outside those and reach out toone another sharing sympathy and solutions, with total strangers.

That means something, and I am thankfull for you all.

Sorry to have killed your idea stone dead.

Promise to stay off this thread in future.

Bye the way folks there is an excellent article by Nick Cohen in the Guardian today about the MMR scandal and the link to autism. Well worth a read for clarification on the causes and treatment of our condition.

    Take care, Laddie

  • Nice idea Eled, you strike me as someone thinking outside the box.

No idea what a hoopy frood is but sounds jolly!

  • James2015 is a hoopy frood, he strikes me as the kind of person who always knows where his Towel is.

  • Eled,

Great idea. Let's hope it provokes a good response from members.
