Still haven't found a Girlfriend

I am 24 years old, i've never even kissed a girl or even hold a hand of a girl. I Feel very sad. I am doing travel & tourism but the trouble is most girls at the college are 16-20 and either have boyfriends or don't seem interested. My stepbrother and stepsister both have partners. My stepbrother is always bringing his gf over to visit my stepdad/mum and my stepsister went on holiday with her partner.

I don't know what to do. I want to be the one that brings his gf is visit my dad/stepmum or my other family. Dating sites don't work, i'm on plenty of fish and i never get any replies. What do i do?

I'm finding it really difficult, my grandfather is going into a care home. Im 24 and still living with my stepdad and Mother and have no Job because i can't seem to find one that i can get to as i live in the countryside. What do i do. I get so jelous when my stepbrother and his gf visit. I Have noone

  • I am just over twice your age, and still have same problem. I don't know what the problem is. For a brief period when I was 26 I had 3 girlfriend over about 1.5 years. All very short, longest one was 3 months. I remember being totally shocked, as to what had changed, why do I now have a girlfriend; then after that time, what is different, why can't I find anyone.

I heard all the well meaning comments, just give it time, it will happen, etc. There is the right person for you out there, etc.

It is down to weakness in social skills, and when you are just meant to know or do what ever can not be said.

I think being different is more acceptable these days, I just didn't find any interest in going out getting totally drunk until the early hours in the morning. A few friends I had at the time were very unsupportive.

I don't know what advice to give, just I remember feeling like you do, it is easier for me know. I like being lonely sometimes now.

I was terrified of rejection, and only ever made about 3 advances. I misread one date, who was interested in continuing, but i though she didn't want too.

I remember being asked out by a girl I really like to come to a night club; got all dressed up to meet her there, but got turned away by bouncers because I was wearing a T-Shirt under a jacket.

Maybe have a look in to social anxiety and if that seems to tie in to what you are experiencing, have a word with your gp to find out what support you can get
