Calming down?

Hi

I've just been to my Student Service's office for my appointment on how my issues affect my studies and turns out I had the wrong time and was half-an-hour late. Anyway they have rescheduled the appointment for later today but I can't help but feel angry, frustrated and a little upset with myself for getting the time wrong. I get these feelings now and again when I make mistakes and now I feel agitated and on-edge.

Does anyone have any particular methods they use to calm themselves when they get like this? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

  • Listening to music the best method for me. Driving usually helps to calm me down. There are plenty of ways to cope and I could list all of them here but it's up to you what you feel is best so try different methods when you feel overwhelmed and angry. Sit with a tea or a coffee, go for a walk or have a nap. Try some of these and see what works for you
