How active is this site?

I've noticed that over the years, many forums have just become so bland, and some have actually been left to rot. Is it because of Facebook?

Good I do hope the forums are updated, just I find it harder to navigate and find topics on here than I do on other sites!!!

I feel like it's going to become very active soon because the video NAS posted on their Facebook page went viral. I can see a lot of people signing up on here soon. Apparently they're changing the forums soon to make them more modern and to allow people to upload their own profile pictures. The current format of the forum looks like it hasn't been updated since about 2006, maybe even earlier than that, but I'm new here so I couldn't say for certain. It's definitely in need of a refurb though.
