Day and night

Hi, new to the forum. My son 4 who has a diagnosis of autism is really struggling leaving the house now that the mornings are dark. He believes we cannot leave the house until it is lighter, which is making it difficult to get him to grandpatents, nursery and getting to work. He is scared and so stressed it's heartbreaking. I've discussed about autumn and winter mornings, looked at books but when it comes to the crunch he finds it so hard. Any ideas gratefully received

Thanks.
