My new obsession

Dont know if this is the right place for this, but i just wanted to ask

if anyone else has taken an obsessive interest in Autism and had to learn all they can about it?

Since getting diagnosed recently i seem to be reading up everything i can about Autism and Aspergers syndrom. Is this because i can relate to the condition as i have it, and is this a healthy thing to do?

I went through that, too, yes. In fact, I have found that my obsession with autism is cyclical (as are most of my obsessions. I'll let them go for a while, then return to them). I don't think it's unhealthy to learn as much as you can about something at all.
