Recently I've stopped being nice to some people in the community because then naturally they aren't going to be nice back but I don't care because that is what I was expecting.
I don't want to be nice to them incase they aren't nice back.
In other words, my expectations are more important than whether people are actually nice to me or not.
So basically it comes down to routine.
