I'm currently writing my Masters dissertation for Comic Studies and wanted to know how popular comics were in the autistic community. I think reading comics can be really helpful and enjoyable for individuals with autism and I just wanted to speak to anyone who has an opinion on the subject.

    I have no problem with comics. My problem was the suggestion that people with ASD would do better with pictures rather than text.

    Pixie's response in the other thread said it better. Her explanation was good. My words were clumsy. I apologise for that.
