Thomas the Tank Engine

To say my G is interested or even obsessed in Thomas the Tank Engine is an understatement.

Apps, Computer, DSi, clothes, shoes, acessories, Brio, Hornby, books, TV, magazines ect ect. you name it.

Marks and Spencer seem to stop clothes at age 5-6 so we will have to buy transfers and plain clothes and make our own.

His most spoken word is Thomas and he is classified as "emerging speech"! He can even spell Thomas (aged 5).

That's all I can think of at the moment

  • My 10 yr old is Autistic. He...like his older brother was OBSESSED with all things Thomas The Tank Engine from a very young age. Then he discovered Toy Story and for the next few yrs couldnt be seperated from his tatty old Woody toy, which was previously owned by his big brother, then his slightly oder brother, then finally himself. It was practically falling apart, but he took it everywhere.

Now, and for the past 18 moonths or so, his main plaything, has become....a coathanger lol. he takes that everywhere. lord knows what the attraction is, but he gets endless amounts of pleasure from it.

I have noticed recently tho....he has taken a real shine to a certain pencil, that he seems to like playing with when he stays with me
