Wondering if anyone else has any experiences of School Sports Day you wouldn't mind sharing.... Is it a challenge? Do you have any tips, advice or progress?
For my 11 year old son it has always been an annual day he dreads at school

There are two reasons for finding something else to do on sports day
1) The social side of it may simply be unpleasant to him.
2) he may be marginally (or more) dyspraxic and badly co-ordinated.
I always hated PE and could never do things like somersaults or vaulting and it generally ended up with the PE teacher screaming at me to try harder etc. Recently it has become clearer that I am not very graceful to say the least.thisis a common problem for autistic people.
Can he be given something useful to do on the day (e.g. 'help' the teachers with keeping score or stuff like that)
