Hello Everyone,
I want to be a Mobile Carer or Support Assistant.
I want to be around for Autistic G before and after school who I am officially caring for. This does not leave much time during the day to work say from 10am till 2pm. I think I am going through my life crisis as I really miss my old job but I had to leave home from 7am till 7pm. This would not leave much time for G so I have decided to give up my career - boohoo. I have recently thought because I have had so much experience with G that I want to be a Mobile Carer in the hours I can do. Therefore working for myself. I have full clean driving licence and CRB checked as well as all my Career qualifications which may not be relevant. Does anybody do this? Is it a good idea? I don't want to do agency work because I need hours to suit. I have to be pretty sure before giving up my Tax Credits etc. I have thought about volunteering but I really need to provide for my family.
What do you think? H
