Hi everyone I am new to this so firstly hello! I was after some thoughts and possibly some advice. I have a 7 year old son with high functioning autism who attends a mainstream school. Today when I picked him up the teacher informed me he will not be aloud to take part in sports day as has been very disruptive in PE lessons recently and often loses his temper over issues such as where he stands in a que or where he finishes in a race. I was told that he could ruin it for the other children so will have to sit out. I just wanted other people's views on this as my son is extremely upset about this as am I.
