I've noticed some differences between the Autism Bill and Autism Act which I'm hoping someone could explain.
As far as I understand it, the Autism Bill makes provision for a definition of what is to be covered by the term autism as includes all autism spectrum disorders, including Asperger’s syndrome but this appears to be dropped by the time the bill became law as there appears to be no such definition in the Autism Act 2009.
Does anyone know why the definition was dropped or if a definition exists within current legislation already?
