Cost of one-to-one cookery lessons

My Autistic son is now 18 and leaving school.  I have found a lovely lady (ex special needs teacher and cook and old friend) who will give him one-to-one cookery lessons in her home.  Does anyone have any idea how much I would pay her per hour?  We live in Bath, UK. Behaviourally, he will be lovely and managable.

  • Gosh, thank you, that's so helpful.  I think your thinking is perfect.  I was considering the £40 p/h mark because she was trained originally as a special needs teacher, it means I won't need to provide a chaperone because she is very skilled with all the necessary behaviourist techniques etc.  That, in fact, makes her support priceless! Thank you for your help.
