CHALLENGES WITH CHANGE - our family approach

CAN FAMILY LIFE, WITH A SPLASH OF AWESOMELY ASPERGERS IN THE MIX, REALLY EMBRACE CHANGE AND NEW EXPERIENCES?

I'm a Mum of 4 children, ranging from 11-months old to 11 years! My children moved to a new primary school this week. It got me to thinking about how far my 11 year old son has come, in handling the unexpected and the unfamiliar... We'd love anyone to visit, comment, and share with us how things are for you....mabye you can relate, or perhaps things are different for you, but we'd LOVE to hear from you either way, here:

  • I agree with you recombinantsocks. Too much is taken for granted about children being on the web. I really hope you dicussed it first so you know his opinon of privacy or not. But as said, well done and glad you feeling proud that you helped your son achieve some challenges. May it continue.

Firstly, it is absolutely totally wonderful that you have worked out how to deal with your son's Aspergers. So many people never manage to handle it this well.

Not totally entirely comfortable with his privacy being invaded and his name and face being broadcast onto the internet like that. It would be OK for an adult to make that decision about their public profile but you have made that decision for him.
