How do people get onto this forum without the 'Introduce Yourself' step?

Am I the only person on this whole forum finding the constant spamming by 'Rudwuk7003' to be completely unacceptable?  What I want to know is, how the hell was he / she able to become accepted as a member of the forum without going through the 'Introduce yourself' bit first?  If it isn't a formal requirement, its about time it was made one, so that people can be checked out before being allowed to post.  There have been several cases of people using this forum for advertising / self-promotional purposes, which is bad enough. But this Rudwuk fool has posted nonsense on the 'General Chat' section every few minutes for days, making it completely useless.

Like I began by asking, does this annoy anyone else or is it just me? (or has nobody else even noticed)

  • Well the moron is back again already, this time under the name Myungsook.  It is malicious spamming - it serves no purpose other than to make that section of the forum un-useable. He's posting literally every minute!

Please get the tech boffins (I presume there are some?) to create changes that make it impossible for this sort of thing to happen. First, change the initial regsitration process so that anyone wanting to join can be verified. Then, come up with something that automatically recognises suspicious posting patterns (like banks have for debit card / credit card spending patterns - they just block your card and it's up to you to contact the bank and get it sorted).
