Re assessment and sensory issues

Hi all,I'm looking for some advice on my daughter's diagnosis and sensory issues. Even though she didn't get a diagnosis for autism I feel there's something still wrong. She has various Sensory issues and sleep and behaviour problems and not sure who to turn to regarding this. She was seen in school and Centre by speech and Language but not an Occupational Therapist and was also seen by a doctor in the centre. She was only seen twice,once to get to know her and the assessment itself. They did speak to the teacher regarding how she copes in school and she seems to be coping ok apart from hating assembly at the beginning of term because of the noise. She's now telling me she has a sore tummy and I think this is because she doesn't want to go to school because she doesn't like school. Thanks in advance x

    I don't know much about this - I'm not a health care professional or psychologist, just a woman who didn't know she had aspergers until recently. 

    However as a child I remember having stomach ache when it was time to go to school. Not sure if this is something that only happens to children on the autism spectrum though.

    Aspergers is apparently often difficult to diagnose in girls as it presents differently to boys, and girls are usually better at masking it.
