How do you cope with going to the shops?

I dislike visiting the shops. It's noisy, bright, busy and people talk to you.

I find it difficult going through checkouts because I don't like making eye contact and I don't do small talk. I try to go through the self service checkouts, but then they bleep and the worker has to come over the fix it and they chat to you anyway.

  • Another thing that I find frustrating about some supermarkets is that they are always changing things around to different aisles! I buy most of my groceries online and get them delivered (although you still have to speak to the delivery driver, at least it's only one person to deal with) and if I need any extra things I go to LIDL who don't move things around, and try to go when it's not so busy like early on a Saturday morning.
