Weekly POSITIVES! lets share our proud moments :-)

This is my first post on this website! I have no interest in doom and gloom- we all are or all have

children with ASD or other conditions....

Today i want to tell you that my little lad smashed his PECS lesson and not only used 'I want milk' but also crossed the room with no prompts and rummaged through another childs book until he found a 'jaffa cake' picture and took this back to complete his next request - prior to this we had only once trialled this snd he took to it straight away in nursery hence one proud mum! Enjoy ur wknd ppl xx

I read your post as including people who are on the spectrum as well as parents of children on the spectrum. It made less sense to me to read it as "we all are [children] or all have children with ASD..." because the forum is not for children and the rules specifically exclude them.

Anyways, some good stuff happened to me this week. I spoke to a very nice person at Access to Work who was pleased to arrange a workplace assessment with NAS as the people to provide the assessor. :-)

  • hmm

firstly can I point out that I do not have any children never mind children on ASD conditions so I am for one who don't count as all have.....

am an adult with ASD not someone who has a child with......

I share some of my positive moments in the threads at times....

sorry I get cross when I read about people who think all of us have children with ASD rather than some of us here are adults with ASD. Rant over....
