Hi all,
I'm looking for advice from you in relation to a member of the public who approached my team (Public Engagement) at University College London. In brief, the member of the public is looking to talk to arts producers about creating a play based on his experience of Asperger’s and his desire to research it while simultaneously living with it.
I have to concede that I’m at a bit of a loss on how to help this person, as this is outside my expertise and fairly far from our usual enquiries in the department. That said, I’m also very aware that the member of the public has been moved along by various organisations who were unwilling or unable to help and so I’m hoping to at least point him in some useful directions.
Would anyone have thoughts on organisations, theatre companies or writers to approach on this? I'm contacting Sphere Arts, Mind the Gap, Graeae Arts and Shape and any other avenues would be great.
