Where can I buy an affordable weighted blanket?

I have been looking around various websites that make custom weighted blankets but they are all way out of my price range at over £100.

Can anybody recommend a cheap alternative? Like, throws that are heavy but not necessarily marketed to the autism crowd so don't have a ridiculously jacked-up price ... if you know what I mean.

Hello,

I brought two off Amazon and find them both comfortable and helpful with my sleep patterns. I think they were around forty pounds

Amazon - my husband bought me one for £40 and it is great for me. It isn't the softest blanket but it works for me and I can sleep with it without any other type of blanket quite comfortably

i use my mom's old sleeping bag, from the 1970's. 50 years old! it's heavy - 7 lbs????something. i been using it for half a year.

serves the purpose. i have no plans to spend a couple hundred on something that does the same thing, but looks cute...and costs to match.

have you tried approaching someone like a physio or occupational therapist, they might be able to get you one on the nhs. I know it seems to be hit and miss with local services but you dont know untill you try.
