hi, im chris, i'm an 18 year old zoology student with aspergers syndrome.i also write occasionally. i have a more complete folio here (http://albionthebard.deviantart.com/) for those with any interest in the subject, but i have, once or twice, tried writing about how i see the world with my mindset. heres what i came out with, feedback most welcome.
the lock-
if you could look into my mind
what might you see?
what thoughts and secrets you might find
all are precious to me
i tell you you would find a lock
wrought of iron, set in stone
it gives those who know me cause to mock
and it keeps me all alone
a world i see beyond this gate
i see but never comprehend
and so that world is filled with hate
my wish only that it end.
the lonely poet
while others play
he sits and writes
many talk the hours away
he just composes, black on white
though the words may dance for him
forming verse to touch the heart
his own is dark and grim
his skills lie only in a single art
he shies from others like wild deer
none understand why he chooses this
his poems are loved but to him its clear
he himself, they do not miss...
