I have a 14 year old daughter that has been diagnosed with PDD – NOS. We live in Spain (Madrid) but I would like to contact secondary schools in UK (private and public) that are specialized or at least experienced in helping children with PDD – NOS and other similar difficulties.
I see there is a link in this webpage to NAS Schools, but I don´t know if there are other schools that you would also recommend.
The can be located anywhere in UK, since my goal is to see whether it´s possible to organize a sort of “student exchange” for my daughter (just a couple of weeks).
She has great ability to learn languages (loves English!), but her school here in Madrid, although specialized in children with learning difficulties, isn´t focusing too much in foreign languages. Besides, we would like to help her to become more independent and self-confident (we – parents – tend to be overprotective with her …).
Of course, should there be families in UK interested in doing the same with their children, please don´t hesitate to contact me.
