Odd Question

A bit of odd question, we normally take my daughter to Alto Towers once or twice a year, but they have change their rules the virtual queuing system and state you have to provide a doctors letter or diagnosis statement stating they unable to queue. It’s not that my daughter can’t queue but she can only manage short periods of time as after 20 minutes her anxiety kicks in and after a further 5-10 mins we have to leave the queue (on her request) then when we are out of the queue she is upset. She is 19 now and was hoping this would change as she got older but I guess not, but will keep trying.

What I want to know if anyone else have this on their statement before I contact someone as I would rather not go via the doctor as I would have to pay £30 for the letter and I would have to get one every year.

Thanks

Martin

  • Will they allow one of you to queue, and the other to sit with her nearby (you say we - I assumed there were two of you at least)? That surely isn't too much deviance from their rules.

Could she wear ear protectors and sunglasses if she has to queue? It might reduce the stress.

I don't like queues. You're stuck there, close to other people, all talking across you, jostling etc. It is horrible, and I try to avoid it.
