I have a Daughter who recently developed Paranoid thoughts.
We can't break the cycle of her perceived guilt. please could you advise us on what to do. To condense what her problems are.She believes shes responseable for everything bad in the world i.e. All the crime and natural disasesters in the world. we explain to her in honest ways. That these events are simply not happening. Shes beginning to call her mum and me liars. Because inside her mind they are.
we are awaiting to see the local mental health team. But this won't be for at least five weeks.

I had a spell like that after the death of my brother, many years ago. I was unable to accept his death for a long time, but did not realise that this was happening and turned all the grief inwards in a sort of self hatred.
Has there been some tragedy in her life that she may be unable to deal with?
