i have a 15yr old son with aspergers , i'm at breaking point

    I have a teenage daughter at a specialist college for people with Aspeger's; she needs a high level of support and will be 18 next year. I'm having trouble getting info and advice about transition to adult services and wondered if anyone had advice about where to find info about adult support.

  • Also depending on where you live, there are some great courses on the NAS events planner specificaly for parents of teenagers with Aspergers.

  • Hi I have a 16 year old son with Aspergers and Dyspraxia. If you want to put more details we can have a chat about things. Its really hard to deal with AS mixed with puberty mixed with looking to the future when other teenagers are all talking about what they want to do i.e college courses. Hang on in there. There is lots of people on this site to offer advice and support and the parent helpline is also good to have a chat with a parent in real time.
