Vaccinations

I was looking to take my daughtr ( who is autisic) on holiday to Mexico. However in researching I have found that hep a and typhoid injections are recommended. Does any body have experience with these injections, views  on them.  I have found a brand that doesn't use heavy metals in the injections (epaxal).   any help suggestions views would be appreciate  thanks

  • I'm old enough to remember that Thalidomide was perfectly safe for pregnant women, that there was no medical evidence of any dangers, and that the manufacturers continue to this day to refuse to accept that thousands of children were born with terrible defects as a result of it having been prescribed to their pregnant Mums.

The question wasn't about whether or not vaccination is a good idea, it was about looking for a version of specific innoculations and asking if anyone had any knowledge or experience. This tangential debate isn't helping with an answer.

  • Typhoid and Hep A vaccines have been around for years and I have not heard of any issues.

Re there not being any evidence for vaccines causing/exacerbating autism, there certainly is evidence that *some* vaccines have caused neurological issues. Pandemrix for instance (swine flu) was taken off the market because it was linked to narcolepsy. In that case it was not the adjuvant but the viral portion of the vaccine that was suspected of causing the problem.

  • You should get the vacanations for your daughter.

Nor do you need to worry about a brand that uses less of any periodic table element.

There has been no, zero, not one bit of actuall scientificaly valid reserch, properly conducted by qualified credible reserchers, to back any kind of causual link between vacinations and onset or worsening of autisim.

Such studies as may imply any kind of link are the product of modernday snake oil salesmen of the worst and moast defarious kinds taking advantage of worthy and laudable parental concerns to con and cheat them.

Please, please have her vacinated properly and fully.
