Newsround special about autism

Hi everyone, just wanted to let people know that Newsround will tonight be airing a special about autism from 4.40pm

The show will focus on 13-year-old Rosie, taking viewers into her world to explain what it has been like for her and others growing up on the spectrum.

Using animation Rosie will introduce the experience of other young people, including Tony, who has a number of obsessions, Ben who has experienced terrible bullying and Lenny, R...osie's little brother.

We've not seen it but it sounds like it could be a great special from Newsround and if you get a chance to see it let us know what you think. Hopefully it'll also be on iplayer for UK viewers, so we'll put that link up as soon as we have it as well.

  • right sorry that i am a little late but my laptop loses the internet sometimes anyway i watched the progam and if was a bit shocked that only 1 in 5 adluts with autism where in full time jobs i thought that was all over and i most admit that it was great to watch and it showed what autism is and how it can affect peoples lifes
