Help needed for an Autistic App building project (Student project by 14 year olds)

Good afternoon everyone,

We are a group of four 14 year old boys studying a design and technology course at school in Kent, UK.  We recently entered a competition called the 'Inspiring digital enterprise award' hosted by the Duke of York and Nominet Trust.

We are now in the top 10 of 700+ teams and have made a minimal viable product of an app for autistic children, parents and teachers that we hope will help with their daily lives.

We have visited the CEO of the National Autistic Society and discussed the app, completed a wealth of research with leading practitioners and medical experts and hope that what we have made will be truly useful.

For the judging criteria  for the dragons den style pitches we have to give on the 27th April at St James Palace we need to show that this is a much needed tool for families.

We have launched the app on the Google Play stores (all android devices) and on the Microsoft store as well as the Apple Store (although it will not be available on Apple for another 3 to 4 days).  The app is simply called 'Yoma Education'.

We were hoping that this community might help us with collecting feedback on what we have offered (good and bad) so we can make it better.  The app is free and although it might have a few issues that we have not yet spotted, we will endevour to fix them as people let us know.

I wondered if you would all mind going to the stores, downloading the app and giving us feedback (to my teachers email address gal@sevenoaksschool.org).

You can also go to our website at www.yomaeducation.com or tweet to our twitter account at @Yomaeducation.  We are also on Facebook.

If we manage to get into the top 3 of the competition they award £15K to have the application made professionally and to help make the application a firm reality.  It is our hope that it will really make a difference to those students struggling in school and at home - offering assistance with communication between teacher, parent and child.

We would appreciate your feedback and hope you find it useful - if you have any suggestions of what could be added to the existing app, this would also be incredibly useful.

Thanks for your help,

Team Yoma.
