hi all im new to this forum. im curious as to whether anyone else here has had issues with social services being utterly useless and seemingly doing everything in their power to make your lives worse instead of better. currently i have been living in an old peoples nursing home for the past year and am only recently getting access to a carer twice a week now that my mum has gotten the nas involved. before that we were told consistently that they were able to provide me with support until 3 months ago when they said "oh sorry we cant actually give support due to autism not being a learning disability" needless to say my emotial and physical state has hit rock bottom this past year, and im hoping i have just had a bad experience with them and that it isnt the same for everyone else.
