Thinking about getting a dog

OBs dad

we are thinking about getting a dog we have all but given up on getting a support dog 

we have been thinking what sort of dog would be best (we are thinking along the line of a lab or collie) also wondering weather a pup or an older dog would be best 

any advise would be most help full

  • I was thinking the same about an older dog but on the other hand our son who we also believe has ADHD as well. our son loves going for walks this is something that claims him down so we need a dog that likes long walks. 

    You could say our son is like an over excited puppy when he is hyper bouncing & running around the home
