A board just for posts by autistic people?

I'm wondering if the autistic people here would like a board on this forum where only autistic people could post. Of course anyone would be free to read it. And those who wanted to include parents and carers could post on other boards here.

Would this make us feel safer about posting and more able to discuss topics?

No risk that someone would chip in offering to cure you or try to help with no direct experience of autism.

There are so few opportunities for us to talk to each other and communicate as we wish to.

  • I think the board title would just ned to make it clear that only people on the spectrum could post. There could be a sticky post reiterating this.

    There is a board for parents/carers already. Moderator, please can we have a board for our posts? Seems mad that this is the NAS and there's no specific space for autistic people.
