A board just for posts by autistic people?

I'm wondering if the autistic people here would like a board on this forum where only autistic people could post. Of course anyone would be free to read it. And those who wanted to include parents and carers could post on other boards here.

Would this make us feel safer about posting and more able to discuss topics?

No risk that someone would chip in offering to cure you or try to help with no direct experience of autism.

There are so few opportunities for us to talk to each other and communicate as we wish to.

  • Or we could have a section that people could sign,saying that any psychologist/mental health professional came on,would not reply/get involved in our particular posts.because some parents/carers need to keep an eye on their children. I worry that the community bit says for people on the spectrum,or anybody that is interested in the spectrum-this could leave us open to trolls,or as we found,psychologists not letting us be ourselves.
