i evey weekend attend the Pauline Quirke Acdemy....iv been their over 7 years now and it has been so great for me
when i first started i was being badly badly bullied at my new school and was very shy and wouldent talk to anyone
then somone at the academy went i will look after you....from then on i had my first friend.
this academy isent like other academies its not precocous and you get kicked out for not wearing right footwear.. also you cant get a part because they have their students that they think are amazing....no one else get a look in
which is where this place is different you get included regardless of your ability and EVERYONE gets a part and equal oppotunity
another bonous is all the staff are FAMOUS and IN THE BUISNESS so your learning from the best and they are all SOOOOOOOO down to earth !!!!!!!!!!!!!
i know some people think tv stars are up themselves....they not they are the loveliest people you could EVER meet.....Pauline Quirke is the loveliest person ever so down to earth and loves everyone inher academy like a family !!!!!
im in the FISRT ever academy made by her PQA Penn and now look its gone viral with over 500 academies all around the world !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
we perfom at Her Majesty`s Theatre in London every otehr year...... we have Film Festivals in EMPIRE cinema in Liester Square (Celeb Premiere Cinema) with red carpets the lot......we have a proper awards ceremony the best film gets trophies and prizes !!!!!!!
we even get trips to stage shows and get to go behind the scenes and meet the cast and see how they did it....meet all the characters !!!!!!!
we do 3 lessons film and tv, comedy and drama and musical theatre so you get a mix of everything
comedy and drama we are doing star wars shakespear at the moment, in Musical Theatre we are doing Into The woods.......
FINALLY Film and Tv you get to direct,write,produce and make the film like REAL professionals do using PROPER TV EQUIPMENT.... like they use on TV the BIG CAMERAS,BOOM STICK,GREEN SCREEN..... we have it all !!!!!!!!!
we EVEN have our own casting company QUIRKY KIDZ who offer aditions to people many been on Mucial Theatre shows,TV Shows,Adverts ect EVEN OUR STAFF AND TECAHERS ?????
one of my teachers is in Waterloo Road playing Sonia, Victoria Bush who has also been in BAD GIRLS and many other shows !!!!
Our Musical Theatre tecahers are still Curently in shows from Lion King,Avenue Q, Charlie and the Chocolate Factotoy,Matilda and many more some even been in BBQ adverts.... same with our Tv and Film crew all still going in shows.... even OUR Pauline Quirke who is at the moment in BroadChruch and Birds of a Feather !!!!!!!
every day when i get bullied because im autistic i think i got PQA saturday and i go there and let it all go through my acting and singing
now i got confidence back,built on my social skills, and teamwork and withoiut PQA id be lost !!!!!
