I'm sorry

Hi everyone,

A while ago I posted some things on here that could have been construed as being argumentative or quite negative (for example, I posted about being "ashamed of being autistic") and I just wanted to say I was sorry. I've been having a really difficult time with bipolar related issues and I've been saying some silly things.

I'm really sorry to anyone I might have offended.

Lots of love. <3

    Welcome back Liv,

Being able to apologise is a good trait, I have been criticised in the past for never saying sorry and have tried to be more aware of when an apology is due. I had a look back at the ashamed thread and the previous thread about depression and didn't see anything that was terribly offensive. I know that I can be blunt and insensitive at times, and apologise if I wound you up with anything I said, but I think that this is to be expected when people with ASD get together and discuss things. We aren't the most socially adept and sophisticated people on the planet and I think we should give ourselves a break sometimes and recognise that without being paralysed by a fear of saying things out of turn. Also, we do need to challenge ourselves, and each other, to recognise when we are being too black and white in our thinking.
