So burnt out

I'm so burnt out I can hardly think straight.

Nightmare few days trying to meet dealines, placate anxcious teens and just get the basic housework done. The energy needed just to get through this last week has been epic and now the inevitable plumit to the lowest ebb of energy has come. Like running a marathon and pushing through the pain, but colapsing at the finish line with no ounce of power left and every sinew in by being aching.

I so badly want to sleep........

  • Steep learning curve for me. Sometimes I think I've been there and brought the T-Shirt. Others days I feel like, 'Hold on, this is new,' how do I deal with this one!

What saddens me, is that with all these years of knowing and learning about Autism and it's traits, Schools etc haven't taken anything on board and parents are still going through the same old story and the culture of blame as before.

The 'friends' thing shocked me in some ways, but that says more about my naivety really. I wouldn't do it to others, so I can't comprehend others doing it to me. This maybe why I fell victim myself so often. Horrible seeing it happen to your kids though.

I never really see it as wisdom, Just sharing experiences that have something in common i guess. Thanks for your kind words though and I hope you have a great week too.
